Our Type A Clips are for the original Brabantia Touch bin lid, these lids are the ones where the clip is moulded into the rim.
Our Type B Clips are for the newer design of lid which has the rectangular cut out in the rim.

Its very easy to fit with no drilling or screwing involved.

In summary, for Type A lids... Firstly remove the remains of the old pin before fitting the BinClips replacement striker pin, we recommend a small spot of glue (preferably from a hot glue gun), although the clips will be a snug fit anyway.

The 45 & 50/60L Clips generally do not need glue as the geometry of the bin lid and the clip work to form a positive location.

For Type B lids simply remove the remains of the old pin by squeezing in the retaining arms from beneath before inserting the replacement.

Fitted as per instructions you will have a stronger than original lid catch that will give your Brabantia bin a new lease of life.
